We have set out to change the landscape of connected experiences by creating a technological solution to some of its biggest challenges.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Ringtail Interactive include two subsidiaries: Ringtail Lemur and Ringtail Team Three. We are united as a company behind our vision to empower a new era of connectivity.
We are proud to host a strong, diverse, and international crew of games industry veterans and emerging talents alike, building platforms for multiplayer gaming and beyond. Together, we are putting a new generation of creation tools in the hands of both developers and players across the world.
Lemur, our upcoming flagship technology and proprietary multiplayer development platform, is the fruit of these ambitions. Ringtail Team Three’s Scape, a vast social and UGC driven MMO, will make full use of this technology.

Bastian Geissler
Founder & CEO
Since founding Ringtail Interactive in 2017, Bastian has leveraged his 20 years in software development (with 10 of them dedicated to leading products and teams in the games industry) to drive Ringtail’s vision of empowering a new era of connectivity.
With over €30 million raised to date and a team of over 140 professionals, Bastian is focused on bringing a world-first technology aimed at leveling the playing field in multiplayer development to market.
The best way for Bastian to disconnect and relax is by playing multiplayer games with his friends. Turns out, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: he’s already had the humbling experience of losing a few matches to his 9-year-old son!
Cecilia Torarp
Head of Finance & Business Control
With over 20 years in finance, tax, and business control, Cecilia has held leadership roles at H&M, Peak Performance, and PwC.
At Ringtail, Cecilia is responsible for developing the company’s finance department and helping translate business actions into profit.
In her spare time, Cecilia loves exploring the Stockholm archipelago by water and often reflects on her kayaking experience with whales in South Africa!
Chris Collins
Head of Marketing
Chris’s vast experience in the games industry spans leadership roles in marketing, community, and development at DICE, Bioware, Codemasters, Raw Fury, and more.
At Ringtail, Chris leads the marketing and communications team, which includes PR, brand, design, and community functions.
Gaming aside, Chris has a passion for music. In a different life, he toured Europe as part of a band, and can play over ten different instruments!
Soroosh Parsa
Head of Legal
Soroosh brings his extensive experience assisting start-ups and SMEs to Ringtail, having also worked with multinational companies expanding into the Nordics.
At Ringtail, Soroosh runs the legal department, which includes contract management, legal compliance, and strategy considerations.
Outside of Ringtail, Soroosh enjoys relaxing in the sun with a drink under the protective shade of palm trees.
Karin Thulin Carlberg
Head of HR
Karin has over 20 years of HR experience in various industries, with her journey in gaming starting at DICE in 2017. Before joining Ringtail, she worked as HR Director at Toca Boca.
At Ringtail, Karin supports managers in building competitive teams, implementing HR initiatives and policies, and fostering the company culture.
As a child, Karin dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot. She is hooked on the movie Top Gun, which she has seen over 30 times.
Remco Van Oosterhout
Director of Technology
With 17 years of total experience in software engineering and 12 in the games industry, Remco is an expert in game and infrastructure development. He led teams on MMOs at companies like Funcom and Star Stable and was one of the Core Architects on Ubisoft’s Scalar technology.
Remco is responsible for the technical direction and vision at Ringtail Lemur. He is the Core Architect of Lemur, working hands-on with developing its most intricate parts.
Outside of tinkering on Lemur, Remco enjoys tinkering as a hobby. An avid user of 3D printers, he uses CAD to print parts for his beloved sailboat.
Pim Kartner
Director of Engineering
Pim brings extensive development experience from both inside and outside of gaming, having worked on cloud solutions, distributed systems, and game systems while leading teams of developers.
Pim drives Ringtail’s engineering culture, creating processes and workflows, and managing the engineering team to ensure projects run smoothly.
When not immersed in the digital world, Pim channels his discipline and focus into the ancient Chinese martial art of Wing Tsun.
Christoph Pantea-Becher
Director of Product
Having spent 14 years in the games industry, Christoph has worked with large teams on over eight titles across multiple roles, including critical positions at InnoGames and Bigpoint.
At Ringtail, Christoph aligns product development with industry, customer, and business objectives, acting as a bridge between the technical team and stakeholders.
When not heads-down with product development, Christoph combines his coding talents to create blueprints for his woodworking projects alongside his adorable cats.
Steven Martin
Game Director
With 15 years in the games industry and ten years in game design, Steven has previously designed and led the development of installments in the renowned Angry Birds and Bad Piggies franchises at Rovio.
At Ringtail Team Three, Steven is responsible for the overall vision and development of Scape, Ringtail Team Three’s upcoming social and UGC-driven MMO.
Daniel Kim
Art Director
With two decades of experience, Daniel has led multiple teams in various studios, including FunPlus, Wargaming, and BON Games.
At Ringtail, Daniel leads Scape’s art team, setting the visual goals and managing the artists.
When Daniel isn’t working on games, he’s playing them – his lifelong hobby.
